Get BBQ outing
Sunday, November 26, 2006
My day started off me and shihui going to Jurong East to collect our car. It was raining heavily, and shihui suggested that we should just hire a cab. We waited patiently under the heavy rain for a taxi to come by. No luck... We waited for about 20 mins before we are able to get onto the taxi.
After we arrived at the designated location, we took the lift to the 7th storey to fill in some forms. The total cost was $60+$50(deposit). I did not withdrew cash beforehand and i've just borrowed $70 cash from my mum. I handed out to him a $50 note and 6 $10 notes. While in the lift, he handed back the $50 dollar note to him thinking that i did not had enough cash with me. I took it of coz! haha What a nice chap! IT was raining heavily, and weixiang suggested driving the car and told us to wait in the shelter. As he was reversing the car, it hit hard on the pole. So that's how my motto came about, DRIVE SLOWLY, STAY ALIVE.
Me and shihui drove to IMM, i was glad that it was not our usual green elf manual car. The carpark was steep and it was filled with cars. **phew... we reached the top level, i guessed my driving skills had turned rusty. Took a long time to park into my slot.. Me and shihui went on our market spree at Giant. We took our "own sweet time" shopping haha... bought drinks and bbq equipments.
IMM CARPARK
Due to our motto, i drove approx 50km/h to pick up siew ching. An abrupt question by siewching spiced up the atmosphere. She asked:” why are u driving in the 3rd lane?” Of course I had to do that! I am adhering to our motto of “driving slowly and staying alive!” Hahaha…Nevertheless, our slowly and steady ride brought us to melvin’s house rather quickly. I had printed the virtual map beforehand.
After picking up Melvin, we went to Vivocity. We took some pictures there before heading off to ECP to collect our food from BBQ wholesale.

When we finally arrived at ECP together with Nazreen, Mel and siewching had lilted the candles. We sang the usual happy birthday song and she blew off the candles. Next.. it was fun time, we had mixed tapioca floor+ raw eggs and threw it at Nazreen. Poor girl, she was distraught..

The whole event was rather dull, cause Sc wanted to go back home badly. So siewching, mel and shihui went off leaving me and naz behind. We chatted for a long time before naz and shihui came back. Instead of camping overnight in the midst of the dull atmosphere, naz suggested to catch a midnight movie.
When we arrived at cine leisure the tickets for Saw3 was selling fast and was left with individual seats. After much persuasion, we decided to take the individual seats. To our disappointment again, it was a R21 show. We tried many other alternatives but none was feasible.
We drove off the Mac reservoir wanting to catch some live shows. It wasn’t successful, we drove from orchard to bukit panjang and from there drove back to Thomsan road. We again missed the u-turn and drove further down before we suggested taking an illegal u-turn. Upon reaching the reservoir, we caught no indecent acts along the car parks… BORING!!!! We headed home…. I was relieved when I’ve finally reached home.
The very next day me and shihui met up to return the car. We drove to Adam Food centre to eat the prawn noodles. To our dismay, it was a long queue. I ate fishball noodles instead and drank a bowl of mutton soup. When we returned the car to weixiang.. his first reaction was :you guys drove to the desert?” we laughed.. Me and shihui took a bus to lot1 to catch the movie "happy feet".
SPASTIC SHIHUI!

Linking interest wif your job ?
Wednesday, November 22, 2006
Today SH came my house and we watched a HK tvb show and desperate housewives together. Not long after, we began so engrossed about huizhen MoooZZ stuffs and began gossiping. U never know, ppl who are bored are super KPO lolx. So the curiosity between me and shihui grew and i smsed shuxiang about huizhen and her MoooZZ.. To our surprise, there was nothing going on.
In e late evening, XY bought us MAC and SH sprite turns out to be a disaster. As usual Sh and Xy began to harass Jovan... Poor boy... We played Mahjong and i lost $3+ due to XY last "hui guan fan zhao" we've lost $3.20 instantly.
After the cranky 2 went home, i went online and met weijie. He knew my msn pic was taken at Vivo city at 1 sight. I was abit taken back, hw could he be so familiar. He's a leisure photographer and started showing me the photos he had taken through a link. His pics where totally fascinating..

He was my secondary sch fren, my martial art fren and my neighbor. His pics were taken from pandan reservoir where we used to go for our morning 7km run. Didn't know there was such a mesmerizing sunset view. Or perhaps i should give credit to his photography skills.
I was envy that he was doing something along the trade that interests him. I mean ... for me my future career in the business world where stress, hectic, sales, presentation and performance revolves around me. It could nv had interest me. So i envy him for finding something that interest him and at the same time support his livehood. Yep.. i told him that. However, he told me that having a job of his interest is not that perfect after all. U will nv imagine the day when u grew to hate what you are doing. Hmz.. yeah... it might not be a good idea to lump your interest and career together. It's a risky task..

I'm back...
Monday, November 20, 2006
I had abandon my blog for months... and now its time to update my blog. Spent days rotting at home during my school holidays. Blogging perhaps could be my past time.
Where shall i begin??? During the period from the day i stop blogging, I've quited my job from XXXXX in hotel asia. Got sick of working and felt that i would rather spend more time at home. The least i have Jovan, my computer, tons & tons of movies and shows to entertain myself.
During the exams season, i was digging myself into books and notes... wasted losta time and effort studying for the wrong topics.... The exam was a total disappointment coz of my careless act of omission.. ARgz.. Shall nt talk about it anymore. Nevertheless suffered from mild depression for 3 days over the incident.
Finally the exams tournament ended on e 9th Nov... The first thing i did was to rush back home and indulge myself in shows like Prison break, Lost, desperate housewives, movies, national geographic, discovery channel. Lolx the indulgent did not sustain for long, within 3 days i had ran out of shows. Started to go online and catch up wif some good frens of mine. As days passed, i began to feel that staying at home was a very wise option. There were days which i could sleep for more than 12 hours and after a hefty meal i would just take another afternoon nap. Finally e days of indulging myself at home was over. Began meeting up with shuxiang to vivo city to shop. Intended to go for a shopping spree, but to my surprise i did not bought anything mux dat day. Meet up with deborah at Vivo city twice and we exchanged greetings.
Anyway SH had a quarrel had a war wif her mum, so my home was like a refugee camp for her lolx.. She would come over to watch desperate housewives and go for dinner at LOT 1 Sakae ordering the same food over and over again. Gosh.. its almost like a routine... Began to contact my frens whom i usually met up for dinner and movies. Managed to contact a guy fren, initially we had planned to catch Sinking Japan. On e actual day itself, he played me off... Zz.zzZZ as usual..... He mad a second appointment for some nice Japaneses BBQ food, i wondered if it was "ill FATED" ... his tyre went punctured on his way along CTE. YES!! i am stuck at home again.
Jus reached home after a horror movie with SH. COLIC was a thai horror show, kinda low production film. Nevertheless we watched it coz we r too bored to be knowing how to spend our time more productively. So e conclusion was to waste $7 to waste 2hrs of our time in the theater. Bought e following 3 books at popular and spent around $58
(1)5 ppl u meet in heaven by Mitch Albom that was introduced by my fren NB
(2)Sex slaves the trafficking of women in ASIA by Louise Brown ----> was trying to depress myself on how ironic the world had turn to
(3) The Loxt Executioner by Nic Dunlop---> was v interested in the Khmer Rouge Regine in Cambodia, trying to enrich my knowledge on history...
Khmer Rouge was a book i was looking for Months.. Was planning to go kino to buy it , but i was so surprised that they had it in LOT1 popular. Finally had some books to accompany me during my holidays. Looking forward to the GET outing next Friday, and praying hard to be able to go bangkok. I'm desperately in need to GET OUT OF SINGAPORE!! I really needed a place to
rejuvenate myself ......
