1st Day

CHANGI AIRPORT.. VANESSA, ME AND SHUXIANG

COLLECTING OUR BAGGAGES

ME & SHUXIANG POSING WHILE AWAITING FOR OUR BAGGAGES

POSING AT THE TAXI STAND

Met up with SX and her fren Vanessa at Changi Airport. Went for coffee before boarding the plane. The journey there was really a torture. We didn’t manage to be seated next to each other and we were surrounded by a group of china barbarians. All of them had a disgusting square top haircut and they were differentiated by their uncultured behaviors. They talked as if they were miles apart and created unpleasant loud groans, yawnz that added much to the noise pollution. They couldn’t stop talking and they ate with loud slurping noise. I just couldn’t stand these bunches of uncivilized people in our country, they are just here to degrade and pollute our country.

The flight lasted for 2.5hrs and we hailed a cab to Bangkok City Inn. The traffic conditions were not as bad as I had imagined we arrived at the hotel 40mins later. We walked to Mk restaurant to have our steamboat feast and the services were fast and prompt with the usage of PDAS.

HUNGER STRIKES US, WHILE WE HAD TO AWAIT FOR THE FOOD TO GET COOKED!

After our sumptuous dinner we went to ISETAN and Big C we shopped around GUESS, LEVIS and went hunting for some bras. I bought from the supermarket losta Gums! The bras were expensive and we went off empty handed. What surprised me were the services that greeted during ISETAN closing. All of their staffs were stationed at their respective stores and there were staffs situated at every level of the escalators and they would bow at every customer that went past them. When making our way towards the exit, 2 ladies in uniforms bowed at us. OMGSh… the gesture was very unlike from what we had seen in Singapore.

We shopped around the Bangkok Bazaar and bought a few bags. Vanessa and SX stumbled in a store to buy watches. I waited for them like 20mins.. **Frownz.. The shopping process was slow, unlike shopping with SH during my previous trip. After shopping at the Bazaar we went back the hotel to have an early night sleep. I had problem turning in and tossed around the bed for 1 hr. Just as I thought everyone was asleep, SX began talking with Vanessa and I joined in the conversation. All of us just couldn’t sleep and we ended up watching HBO a lame vampire show. Haha….

SLACKING IN E HOTEL ROOM

2nd day

2nd day was perhaps the most tiring day for all of us. We woke up 9am to have our breakfast. Both SX and Vanessa had great appetite and they could go for 2-3 rounds of breakfast. We took a taxi to Chatuchuk and started browsing through the stores. The heat was torturous and we began sweating like crazy. We covered almost 1/2 of the chatuchuk market and I spent 1 hr looking for my Checkmate store to buy my jeans. I was able to stretch my limits and shopped 3-4 hours under the tremendous heat unlike my previous trip with SH where we just went off after 2hr plus of shopping. At the end of the shopping trip I bought losta jeans. We took a cab back to the hotel and took a short rest before we proceed to Ma Boon Krong Shopping Complex. By that time we were desperate for food and we settled down in a Thai restaurant. Each pax cost only like $3-$4 bucks.

THE BLOODY AND TASTELESS NOODLESS, QUITE YUCKYZ..

But the food wasn’t that tasty. We bought losta 199 Bhatt bags as usual and went back to the hotel before we continue our next destination to Suan Lum. I only managed to buy some shirts from there. When we arrived back at our hotel, I ordered food for my dinner. We were too lethargic to go anywhere hunting for food.

BACK IN THE HOTEL, WE LOOKED LIKE WE R IN A BROTHEL HAHAZ!

3rd day

SHUXIANG TAKING FOREVER TO FINISH HER BREAKFAST..

This was the most relaxing part of the holiday. We woke up for breakfast as usual and walked to Prantunum shopping centre.

OUR JOURNEY WALKING TO PRATUNUM SHOPPING CENTRE

OUTSIDE PRANTUNUM SHOPPING CENTRE, I COMMENT DAT SHUXIANG HAD WET UNDERARMS...

The heels there were gorgeous and cheaper as compared to those from Singapore. We went crazy for heels but were disappointed as most shops were closed on Sundays. We than proceed to Pratunum Market and bought some Red Bull T-shirts.

Our next destination was to Indra Square a wholesale shopping complex. I bought accessories and a Miss Sixty 3/4 jeans and the lady serving me had a poor attitude. I took size 26 and the auntie told me to first pay up and than try the pants at the toilet, and if it couldn’t fit I could come back for a bigger size. After I went to try the pants, it was a little too tight for me. I spent another 1/2 hr hunting back for the shop to change my pants but by the time the attitude auntie had already closed the shop!

HAVING MY FAVOURITE MOCHA AT INDRA SQUARE...

Bought a few skirts from another shop not bad looking. We took a cab back to the hotel although it was within walking distance. After a short rest, we had our lunch and dinner in a Jap restaurant before walking to Plantinum shopping centre. The Jap food was cheap and really mouth-watering. I guess one of the good one I had tasted in my life. What’s more each pax cost like only $10. I had a bento set with a mixture of fried tempura and veggie. We ordered 3 side dishes, Jap pizza, Butter straw mushrooms and Yakatori.

Platinum fashion mall was a big 6-7seven storey shopping complex. I bought from there t-shirts and heels. As it was Sunday, most of the shops closed off early before we could finish hunting for our shopping goods. We went back to the hotel at approximately 9pm. We sat in front of the TV watching Underworld and Rumor has it and before we knew, we were fast asleep.

4th day

The last day was a day of rush rush and rush as we didn’t had enough time. We woke up at 8am and had our breakfast before going the platinum fashion mall to continue from where we had left off yesterday. As we walked past a manicure shop I casually asked if they were interested. Never thought it could be an endless waiting process for me. They took almost 3hrs just to do their manicure and pedicure!!!! I just walked around aimlessly.. What’s worse was that most of the shops were not opened. We went back to Pratunum shopping complex and bought more shoes before walking back to the hotel.

Back to the hotel we were busy arranging all the items we had bought during the last few days in order to have a photo taken. We were in short of time and everyone was like preparing to make a runway from war. Bags and plastic bags were all over the floor and the scenario was messy and hilarious!!

WHOOOOOZZ.. MY SHOPPING ITEMS

WITHIN SECONDS, THE HOTEL WAS TRANSFORMED INTO A DUMPSTER LOLX..

SHUXIANG'S AND VANESSA'S STUFFS...

On arrival to the airport we were way too early. We started weighing our baggage and there goes Vanessa nagging again. She’s a chatty girl and at times she just hated silence I guess. We waited for the counter for check-in and our stomach groan and grind. I was way too hungry to talk or think about anything.

ON OUR WAY TO THE AIRPORT

OUR BLOATED LUGGAGES...

HAVING OUR MEALS AT A YUCKY THAI RESTURANT IN E AIRPORT

Too hungry to response to any comments or questions made by Vanessa. Yeah I guess,,, hungry people are indeed angry people. Upon checking-in we just settled our dinner at a Thai restaurant. The food suxs and it’s overpriced. Can u believed its selling lousy Thai food in Thailand!!!

I went ahead to Burger King to have some onion rings. I asked for a small cup of water to be served to me. I hated a sissy manager that told me off in a rude tone: NO FREE WATER! Fucker!! After we landed back at Singapore airport, SX guy friend send me off back to my home. Haha.. Managed to save my transport fees!!

3thmay-10thmay

Friday, May 11, 2007

Finally my exams are over… Weeks I had not been updating my blog. Nothing much interesting happened during the weeks.

3th may- it was my birthday, bangseh by my secondary school frens and kunxiong. Nevertheless Michael celebrated it for me. Really felt touched and grateful for his efforts. He treated me sakae sushi and we watched spiderman 3 at JP.

4th may- we met up with the fat uncle to sing at party world. There was a sight of him glancing hard through the window glaring at us, we joked that he was shihui’s zhuan shu tian shi. After that we went prawning at the same old area.

9th may- it was the long awaited day for the exams to finish. Shihui and xingyi came my house to watch the 200 pounds beauty. Although it was a typical storeline, it’s still touching.

10th may- had a medical appointment at skin care centre, went to fareast for a haircut. Spent around $61 with the inclusion of the hair wax. It was already 6pm by than, decided to go to vivocity to shop. Met up with winson as he was working around the vicinity. He treated me to sushi tei hahahaz.. We shopped around vivo and I bought 2 tops from gg5 that accounts to $120. Quite had a liking for the black top..
