I had suffered immensely due to the excessive noise pollution today. There was a renovation project going on these few days. The damn contractor wanted to get his work done fast resulted in cutting corners using filthy methods. He resorted in using big drills which you’ve seen on the roads to drill off his marble instead of those normal drills. The noise is really unbearable.. My ears had turned a little deaf due to their drilling process. I personally don’t feel these types of drills are prohibited in HDB blocks. I had to shout across so loudly before I could get someone in the household to get my message. This type of drilling was totally unacceptable. What’s more it’s causing distress to poor little Jovan who had been crying so badly thanks to their inconsiderate drilling method.

Finally, my mother took up the courage and confronted the contractors. The contractors phoned the supervisor and he instructed them to change it to a smaller drill. Finally, the noise level was brought down to an acceptable manner. How could they possibly use a drill that was meant for drilling those concrete roads in the public roads to actually drill it our HDB block!! Bad news was that the drilling will be going on for another 3 days. Tomorrow will be worse as my mum told me that the will be drilling non-stop. **Peace. My brother suggested bringing Jovan to our auntie’s house tomorrow. But the bad news hit us again.. My auntie’s grandson is sick and so we got to find somewhere else to hide tomorrow. **Gosh!

I’ve finally downloaded PPStream into my computer. Didn’t notice that there were so much movies, tv serials to watch through this program. I was able to appreciate the program especially when I am slacking at home. Watched horror flicks like Dorm, the Ghost game. Comedy, Korean shows, Lady in the water, Crayon Shin Chan.. The lady in the water sucks.. I switched the channel after just watching it for 5mins. Slow and dreadful, no hunks even the female lead looks @!#$!!!.

As I was finishing this blog entry, my mum came into my room and told me to turn in early tonight. They will be drilling from 9am onwards. There goes my sleep!
