Met up with SH to catch a thai horror show at Lot1. Was about to reach Lot1 and she told me that she will be late as she was still busy sleeping at her fren’s house in kallang. I ended up having to make my way back home.

I heard the surprisingly news that Singapore won Thailand twice in the match both in Singapore and Bangkok. The match in Singapore wasn’t a glory one as Singapore won on a penalty kick. They again turned around the table wining the Thais in Bangkok today.. Wow…Congrats.. didn’t know our soccer team could play! I guess the Thais must be furious.. First we harbored their Ex-minister Thaksin in Singapore and next we won their soccer team! Can’t imagine the hostility Singaporeans would be facing going to Bangkok for the next few months.

Was alone yesterday night watching the discovery channel titled: “The after life.” It showed an auntie in the late fifties from Hong Kong shopping for her after life necessities. The video showed her bargaining from shop to shop for her after life necessities. She was doing measurements for her clothing to wear after she dies. Heard from the report, retirees at the age would spend their time shopping for things they need for their afterlife. My heart felt for those this auntie, staying alone in this campy house of hers in Hong Kong. Her only grandson had migrated to Germany. Her only past-time was to shop for her coffin. Isn’t that ironic?! Haiyo… I really wouldn’t want to end up being a loner next time! Imagining having to plan my own funeral even when I was alive…

Read a newspaper article today about a 67 years old granny who gave birth to a pair of twins. Apparently the old granny had lied to the doctor about her age in order to get a transplant to give birth. I don’t really understand how a doctor could be so easily duped into the situation! U meant they don’t have any forms of identification? Is that responsible parenting? I mean the granny might not be even alive for the next 10 years. What would happen to their kids who barely reach their teenage? She’s an old retiree I guess spending almost half of her savings on the transplant. Tough to imagine what would her kids have to live on?
